I LOVE to do fundraisers! They are one of my favorite parts of this “job” of mine!

I’ve been doing fundraisers for about 7 years now. I’m going on 8 years of being a consultant! So everything runs like clock work when you host a fundraiser with me! I want to show you all the fun and unique ways we can do fundraisers to help you and your organization or cause.

The great thing about these things, is that you can COMBINE any and all ways that you love! Combining a few different ways will ensure your teams success when it comes to hosting a fundraiser with me!

#1 Online Party

This is SO easy! We have a link to your fundraiser on my website and everyone can follow the link to order. 30% of all orders are donated to your organization.

#2 Home Show

You can host a home show and invite all your friends and family to see the product themselves and order there!

#3 Facebook Event

Facebook events are GREAT to show people product usage and great ideas on HOW they could enjoy some Thirty-One in their lives while donating to a great cause. I set the entire event up for you and all you have to do is invite your friends. All ordering is done online. Easy peezy!

#4 Bingo Night

A Bingo night is just FUN! People love to play Bingo, win prizes, and order to donate to a great cause!

#5 Trunk Party

You’re already at practice, or church, or somewhere with all your friends. Why not invite them all to a special night where they can literally see all the products and order at a convenient location where they’re already going to be!

#6 Spirit Wear

We can make a collection of products in our spirit line that show off your team colors, jersey #’s, hometown, or favorite team colors! People love to show their spirit for their teams. It’s a great way to high light that team pride!

#7 Collection

We can get a collection of 5 to 6 products. I make a flier, and your team sells just those products.

#8 Restaurant

Hold a restaurant party where everyone gets together for a dinner or lunch and we show off the products there. I’m pretty good at sweet talking managers into also donating a % of the food sales!

#9 Registration Party

The night of your team’s registration, where all parents will be anyway…I can set up a table of products and collect orders. And you can hand out packets that night for others to help collect orders.

#10 Team Party

Each parent takes a hostess packet and collects orders individually and we enter as one big party!

Book 10 Holiday Thirty-One Parties!

So here’s a team challenge for our team. We have a goal of booking 10 holiday parties to close by October 15th.


10 Holiday parties at $200 each, equals $2000 in sales. BAM! Right there. So let’s get after it!

Here are a couple of graphics we will be using. This will be an ongoing push until the end of October. The goal is to get people in the holiday spirit! It’s time to rock out this fall season to:

  1. Help everyone earn the Leadership Incentive Trip starting in October
  2. Get our customers on board, that if they host a party they get to shop from the outlet sale early
  3. increase sales in general
  4. increase the # of people in our customer group
  5. increase the amount of people we’re in front of, therefore increasing our chances of recruiting
  6. and the more people we’re in front of, the more people who will book for NOVEMBER!

Each month will have the same idea. A “holiday package” with the goal of booking 10 Holiday parties each month!

It states a $200 party because that’s EASY. But we will be focusing on hostess coaching to (OF COURSE) get them higher sales than $200!

Host 3 Holiday Parties for Your Thirty-One Customers!

This is something that is SO much fun. And it is a way to SERVE your customers!

Check out this video on how we are creating a team holiday party to invite our customers to:

1. Pumpkin Carving Party (October)

2. Thanksgiving/Fall Craft Party (November)

3. Christmas Craft Party (December)

We’re always ASKING for something from our customers. But this is an event to build relationships with your customers. This is a time where we can organize something to give back to THEM. To laugh, get to know each other, and simply have fun! Building relationships are what it’s all about.

This should be a FREE event.

And want to make it even better? Turn it into a “give back” event. If they bring a certain item (like canned goods one month), they’ll be entered into a drawing for some giveaways. And then when you deliver those, you can tag them on Facebook and let them see they were a part of something bigger! How cool is THAT?!

Okay, you don’t HAVE to do anything…but if you want to live your life the way it was intended…watch this video!

Anyone who owns a business knows that social media is playing a HUGE role in our business these days. Whether you’re marketing, sharing invitations, communicating with customers, rolling out Facebook events, or running contests…if you’re not using social media, you’re missing some customers!

I am just going to walk through Facebook events at the moment. Working in Direct Sales, I host at least 7-10 Facebook events a month for my hostesses. Those FB events last 15 days, and I post 6 times a day for 5 of those days. Can you imagine how crazy I would be trying to remember all those posts? Maybe that’s YOU right now?

Cinchshare has made my life SO much easier. If you have never heard of it, let me give you the low down:

This is a #SocialMedia scheduling site that allows you to schedule posts for Facebook, IN ADVANCE (they also do a lot of other things that I have not explored yet). So you can schedule a week’s worth of posts on YOUR time. Sounds pretty amazing, right? IT IS!

~post monthly reminders to my team

~when I’m up working late, I can post things for my closed customer page, and schedule them to post in the morning-when normal people are up😉

~I can schedule ALL posts to any events I have going on. So #1-I don’t forget to post them. #2-I’m never in a hurry. I can take my time and do it RIGHT. Consistency is the name of the social media game.

~I can post things to go on my main FB timeline. Maybe I have an hour to sit down and post a bunch of great quotes I found. But I don’t want to post twenty at one time. So I can schedule those to go out daily with Cinchshare.

It’s really a no brainer for anyone who needs to organize their time and their business. I’m a busy mom of five. I HAVE to do things on my time (if my kids let

Alright…who are the late birds entering orders today?!
For those of you who have been around the block, you KNOW you don’t want to wait until the last minute to enter your orders.
1. All orders with the March customer specials MUST be entered by tonight or they will fall off their order. So if you have orders entered for next month already, make sure no one has this month’s special.
2. If you go to enter your orders at 11pm. And someone’s credit card gets declined, you’re…well…kind of screwed! Because it’s going to be awfully hard to get a new credit card from someone at 11pm. So get those orders in EARLY!
3. I make all hostesses aware that I refuse to enter orders on the last day of the month. So all orders have to be in the day BEFORE. That way I never have to deal with this!

How I’m Sharing the New Thirty-One Fall Catalog With My Customers!

I decided to try something new for sharing the fall catalog with my Thirty-One customers.

About 2  years ago, I posted…”Hey fill out this survey and everyone who does gets a catalog!” Well…that cost me TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ((Insert>>>hole in pocket)). And I swore I’d never do it again.

So the following year, I created digital catalogs with And that worked GREAT! I actually had my highest sales ever-of over $55,000 for the fiscal year. But…I didn’t have the EXCITEMENT I had when I was mailing catalogs.

So here’s my solution for meshing the TWO!

I’m doing a giveaway of 10 catalogs mailed with a gift if they fill out this survey. And I’m also testing the waters with a new Holiday Layaway Program. Don’t ask me any details on that…cause I’m just as clueless as YOU;) But I will certainly let you know when I figure it out!!

Thirty-One Business Cards Vs. Mini Catalogs-TKO

When a new consultant signs up, one of the first things to pop through their head is…”OH! I need BUSINESS CARDS!”

I would like to challenge you to think outside the box from the get go!

A mini catalog really tells our Thirty-One story. It gives them something to KEEP and look through…and SHARE!

Now, I’m not saying you don’t need business cards. But I challenge you to think BIGGER and share your mini catalogs the same way you would a business card. It will serve your business well!

Everybody always asks me…WHAT DO YOU SAY….when you hand out mini catalogs??

“I just don’t know what to say”

Ready for it??? This is monumental…this is going to be a turning point in your career….pay very close attention… ready for it????……………..”Do you mind if I leave this with you?”

-she’ll say……. “Sure, what is it?”

-and you’ll say…. “I help people organize their lives. And this is our mini catalog.”

All you need to make your own is…………

#1 Where do you put the mini catalogs?




**every Sunday….make up 25 mini’s….and put half of them in your purse and half of them in your CAR! Your job each week is to hand out 25 mini catalogs a week to complete strangers…

Who do you leave them with??

*** EVERYONE!!!! When you go into the……

-grocery store, give it to the teller

-bank, send it in the tube

-gas station, give it to the clerk

-library, give it to the lady checking you out

-walmart, give it to the cashier

-doctor, leave some for the staff

-dollar store, give to the cashier

-WORK…leave in the BATHROOMS, breakrooms…

-servers….attach your bill to the mini catalog

ANYONE you come into contact with.  And when you get really good at this…you not only go into the dollar store you intended to, but you go into the store NEXT DOOR! Why not? You’re already THERE!

AND WHAT DO WE SAY WHEN WE HAND THEM OUT????? “Do you mind if I leave this with you???”

Now one more thing that’s fun to do……

You CAN get some kiddy looking goody bags and a sticker book, mini notepads, and a pack of 64 crayons at your dollar store.  Put some stickers, two sheets of paper folded over, 2 crayons, and a mini catalog packet.  Hand them to rowdy kids in stores-the moms will love you 🙂

Share Your Thirty-One Accomplishments!

Just getting back from National Conference and I’m wrapping up the END of a catalog and beginning to work on a NEW catalog.

I’m exhausted, anyone else?

But it’s VERY important to make sure you’re sharing your accomplishments inside your customer group. Things you want to share:

  1. amenities
  2. pictures with friends
  3. your lanyard
  4. any awards
  5. anything that inspired YOU

Let them celebrate with you! You’re planting recruiting seeds, you’re including them in your accomplishments, and you’re showing them what a great time you’re having with your business!

Pie Throwing Contest for Thirty-One Consultants

Okay, here’s something FUN to help you earn your Ready, Set, Sell…a PIE THROWING CONTEST!

The fun part is this: When we hit $600 in orders, I’m going to let one of my customers smash a pie in my face via Facebook LIVE. I will literally drive to their house with a chair and a pie. And I think I have a few customers who will be fighting over this honor. LOL!

So this is just like a “Turkey Trot” with a social media TWIST.

You get 6 people to collect $100 in orders and you submit one big $600 party and split the hostess rewards between those 6 Hosts.

**Please note: you will want to CHANGE this graphic in some way so we don’t all get thrown in Facebook jail. Add a border, or your name to the bottom, or something to make it different before you upload it to your customer page!

Here is the “launch video” I posted in my customer page about this pie throwing contest. Just so you can hear my wording for it:


This really is one of the easiest things you can do. And one of the easiest things your CUSTOMERS can do.


**Let them know the first person to submit orders gets to PICK their hostess benefit. This encourages them to collect and get them in.

**Let everyone know that if they sell 4 bundles, they get all hostess benefits 1-3, don’t ASSUME they know that.

**Want to get fancy? PRINT the bundles and send it to them.

**Day 1-text them the link…Day 2-FB message them the link…Day 3-email it to them…with tips on how to message a few people, text a few people, etc. HELP THEM. Don’t just sit back and hope it turns out great.

**Hey…don’t forget YOU can sell them too. Text your favorite buying customers, customers with kids heading back to school…and SELL SOME YOURSELF!!

** I will start a texting blitz myself. By messaging all past hostesses first. And asking them if they want to give this a shot.

**I will probably post DAY 2 and let everyone know that anyone who turns in $100 in orders will get one of my very first FALL catalogs in the mail.
