Getting Your Customers Information in Direct Sales

We can pass out information until we’re blue in the face. But if you don’t get their information in return…you’re going to have HALF the success rate. And most of your effort and time will be a waste. Direct Sales is all about making connections.

In order to increase those connections in my own business, I found a way to allow my “connections” to fill out a form and reply on their time. And in a non threatening way. I’m not standing over them saying…hurry up and fill out this slip!

This is the slip I use, showing front and back of the postcard:

So here’s what I did:

I made a two sided post card at vistaprint.com. I used 2 images below:

I use them in just about everything I do from this point on. 


~You can put it into thank you cards from customers who order from you online. 


~you can use them in goody bags you hand out to people on a daily basis


~I use these at the beginning of my parties to get all of the guests information-I have them fill out, the hostess collects in a little carry all, and then we draw one for a prize

~I put these into customer’s bags when someone hosts a catalog party. Those are sometimes the hardest people to get full information from, those guests!


*it’s just a non-threatening way to allow people to answer all these questions if they want to!
